I'm 70 years old and a retired nurse. I've always been active and tried to eat healthy and take care of myself. When I heard about the lion's mane tincture and read about the benefits it got my attention. I've been in good health but genetics brought me some unwanted issues. I was found to have high cholesterol which my doctor told me was genetic and that there was nothing I could have done to prevent it. I had been taking Pravastatin for several years. When my doctor called me with the laboratory results he told me my cholesterol level was great. I was a little surprised. I asked if it was good enough to stop taking the Pravastatin and he agreed I could. He plans to recheck it when I go back in April. I again reviewed the possible benefits of taking the lion's mane and was surprised to find that it could help reduce cholesterol. Although the reason I started taking it was for cognitive effects I consider the lowered cholesterol level a bonus. Anytime I can stop taking a medication, especially one I have taken for years, that's a winner to me. I've been taking it now almost four months and will continue to take it. Thanks Paul for the effort you make in producing such a good product and making it available to older folks like me.
